Church Secretaries Day: “Faithful to the Mission”
Thursday, March 6, 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 
Speakers and topics of this favorite day for church secretaries will include interesting, useful and motivational topics. It’s an opportunity for church staff persons to get away from the business of their own offices, learn from the experience of others, and leave feeling refreshed to meet their daily challenges.
An introductory prayer will be presented by Sister Anne
DeMers. The issue of recruitment and use of volunteers will be addressed by R.S.V.P.
director Deanna Patenaude of UMC. Sister Lois Spors will give an introduction and sampling of the art of calligraphy. The parish team of Saint Bernard’s Church, Thief River Falls, will present a panel on “Collaborating in Ministry.”
Suggested Fee: $35 includes lunch and snacks. Pre-registration fee: $10.
