Live-in Volunteers
Live-in volunteers live within the Saint Benedict community and work along the sisters of Saint Benedict and serve a variety of roles, such as:
- Driving
- Work in the child care center
- Act as a receptionist
- Assisting in homeless shelter
- Train computer users
- Escort sisters to clinics or other appointments
- Help with household tasks
In exchange for your service, you receive:
- Living accommodations and meals with the sisters
- The opportunity to experience the spiritual richness of prayer, work and relaxation in a peaceful atmosphere
The live-in volunteer program is open to women of all religious backgrounds who:
- Desire to integrate service and spirituality in a community setting
- Are at least 23 of age and in good health
- Are financially independent, without dependents
- Can adapt to a variety of work situations
