With the unsettled weather over the weekend of April 23rd and 24th, the heavy rains and light overnight snow pushed the level of the Red Lake River over its banks around Crookston. This included the edges of the Monastery property: over the road to the farm and coming up the hill higher nearer the west entrance road. The heavy rain also filled in low spots around trees! As of April 26th and 27th, the Red Lake River has crested and the water levels are starting to recede.
