Sister Kathleen McGeary has been in a leadership position MANY times in her life here in community, most recently as our Monastery Coordinator for Sister Jennifer Mechtild Horner, our Pastoral Administrator from Beech Grove, Indiana.
As Sister Kathleen is transitioning out of that role, aiding Sue Murphy to become our new Monastery Coordinator, it was very fitting that we honor Sister Kathleen for her many years of service to all of us in a very capable, efficient and loving way.
On Friday, June 28th, we named the day Sister Kathleen McGeary day! It began with a beautiful corsage at Morning Prayer, continued on through a delicious dinner (her favorites!) with a special meal prayer and program, and continued on throughout the day!
We all wish Sister Kathleen well as she transitions from her very active role of ‘doer’ to more of just ‘being’!
