Sister of the Day: Sister Robertine Spurrill

Sister Robertine Spurrill  1909-2002

Born and raised in Canada, Sister Robertine became a naturalized citizen of the USA in 1943, just before she made her final vows as a member of Mount Saint Benedict.  This versatile Sister served at various times as a kindergarten teacher, registered nurse, medical laboratory and x-ray technician and a trained beautician.
