We started the “Four Days of Christmas” (every afternoon at 2:30) with two great Christmas puzzles: Match the Christmas Cookie Name, and Christmas Songs Scramble Puzzle. How many of them do you know? Second Day of Christmas Party!

How many squares can you cover with your marshmallows?

The second day of Christmas brought two activities to the games: games of bingo were played, and when each sister declared, “bingo”, they got to try to throw an inflated disc onto the reindeer antlers that Sue was wearing! What fun! (Some of the sisters needed extra marshmallows, as all of them didn’t go on their cards but went in their mouths instead.) Don’t miss all the extra pictures of this exciting game below!

Third Day of Christmas Party!

On the third day of Christmas, we each had at least one Reindeer Race card and shook our dice, trying to get the numbers on our cards so we could cover them all with our marshmallows. For most of the many games, we added another card and continued until all the extra cards were filled!

Fourth Day of Christmas!

The games on the fourth day of Christmas really taxed our thinking skills! In the five games we played, we were given a piece of paper with a Christmas word on top and were challenged to see how many of the thirty lines underneath we could fill with words coming from the letters in the Christmas word. Some of us even added additional words on the backs of our papers! Sue told us that 1,360 words can be made with the word Christmas, 173 words can be created with the word Santa Claus, 190 words can be made with the word Stockings, 470 words can be made with the word Ornaments, and 158 words can be made with the word Presents. How many can you make?
